One of the best and biggest swim programs in the area for girls and boys is at the YWCA. Featuring a state-of-the-art warm water pool and certified American Red Cross Safety instructors, all ages – from 6 months to seniors – learn to swim, improve their technique, build endurance and enjoy better health and fitness.

Dolphin Babies, 6 months to 3 years, learn to be comfortable in the water while swimming with a parent.

Dolphin Tots, 3 to 5 years, learn basic swimming coordination, safety and formal stroke technique.

Juniors, K to 12, are placed at appropriate skill levels, perfect their stroke and kick technique and improve safety training.

Private swim lessons and clinics also are available.

Children who improve their skills with group or private swim lessons often graduate to become members of the nationally ranked YWCA Dolphins Swim Team.
