Betsy O’Reilly is a co-founder and CEO of QuadJobs, a Greenwich-based company that was established in 2014. QuadJobs connects college students with on-demand or part time jobs in the communities surrounding their campuses. Since its inception, the company has helped nearly 35,000 students tackle the financial challenges of a college education while also helping them to demonstrate work ethic and start to build a professional network. The company operates throughout the Tri-State region, as well as in Chicago, Austin, and Denver and continues to expand rapidly across the US.
After starting her career as a clerk on the interest rate options sales desk at O’Connor and Associates in Chicago, Betsy expanded into bigger roles on trading floors in Chicago, Zurich, London and New York. She moved to Zurich where she worked in Swiss equity sales and trading for Swiss Bank Corporation, which eventually merged with UBS. Her career with UBS took her to London where she joined the first sales team in the City dedicated solely to looking at equities on a global sector basis. She moved up the ranks at UBS and ultimately was hired by Deutsche Bank to run their global equity sales team. A few years after joining Deutsche Bank, she was promoted to run all of international equity sales.
Betsy and her husband and two young boys moved back to the States in 2010. When she is not working with Andra Newman to engineer new ways to grow QuadJobs, Betsy is a board member of REACH Prep and volunteers actively at her boys’ school. She loves her daily walks with her dog Bella where she mentally tackles the world’s problems. More than anything, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially when they are all on skis.
