bra’va, n. fem – a shout of approval for a woman’s performance 

Established in 1977, YWCA Greenwich BRAVA Awards recognize outstanding women achievers who have excelled in their professional careers and who also volunteer their time and talent to help others.

Proceeds support free services to victims of domestic violence…scholarships for preschool, afterschool, summer camps, and aquatic programs… free women’s leadership seminars…free racial justice activities…subsidies for YWCA programs not covered by dues and fees.
