YWCA Greenwich will sponsor the Greenwich International Film Festival screening of The Light of the Moon, a powerful and moving story of a woman who maintains her dignity and sense of humor as she deals with the aftermath of a sexual assault.
A post-screening town hall conversation will include a panel on rape culture and sexual assault. Leslie Coplin, LMSW, Prevention and Outreach Coordinator of YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services, will be the moderator. Participating in the Q&A will be Emmy-nominated Australian filmmaker Jessica M. Thomson, film producer Carlos Velayo, lead actress Stephanie Beatriz, and Peg Cafferty, producer, India's Daughter.
