MELT uses specialized techniques, a soft body roller, and four different balls designed to reconnect whole-body communication, rebalance the nervous system, rehydrate the connective tissue, and release compression in joints. The YWCA program is taught by Samantha Abrahams, a certified MELT practitioner who blends classic Pilates principles with MELT hand and foot, full body self-treatment, and strength techniques.
Samantha is passionate about alternative healing modalities and honored to support individuals on their personal journey toward optimal well-being.
Samantha Abrahams immersed herself in the field of holistic health after completing her undergraduate degree in dance performance. In 2002, she completed the Professional Massage Therapy Program at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, and a 700-hour training and certification in Athentic Pilates under master trainers. Samantha went on to become a Reiki Master and also completed a Masters Degree in Holistic Health and Spiritual Healing at Holos University Graduate Seminary. She has been a certified MELT practitioner since 2011.
