Betsy Underhill, the varsity girls tennis coach at Greenwich High School, loves Pickleball and has been instrumental in bringing the game to Greenwich. When the YWCA approached her about coming to teach classes, she jumped on the idea. "A friend of mine told me she played it when she went out west and said I need to bring it to Greenwich," Underhill said. "I went online, found out about it and saw that it was being played in Ridgefield, so I decided to go and try it. When I got back home, I couldn't stop thinking about it, then I kept going back to play."
New to the YWCA, Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong.
