Lifelong learning starts here
For 45 years, YWCA Greenwich has provided a warm and nurturing place for children to learn, play and explore as they develop and grow. During the academic year (September - June) the preschool gives children ages 15 months to five years a unique early education experience that builds a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning. In the summer months (June - August), young campers enjoy a wonderful selection of creative fun indoor and outdoor activities on our 6.5 acre campus.
Preschool diversity and enrichment
We pride ourselves on our diverse preschool population which today teaches children of various racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds representing the United States and many other countries around the world. We are also the only Greenwich preschool that provides four additional classes: gymnastics, music, spanish and swimming, at no extra cost.
For kids and teens
The YW provides a continuum of programs for children as they grow up, from age five to fifteen. Our Kaleidoscope After-School program and Vacation Camps keep kids and teenagers active with opportunities for play, exercise, and socialization. Also offered are special STEM activities including "Reading Champions," "Zaniac Computer Coding" and "Cool Kids Chemistry" sessions supervised by a Greenwich High School teacher.
Camp Ta-Yi-To, a 45 year YW summer tradition, keeps the fun going for kids ages 5-10 years-old. Our Girls Circle Summer Camp will once again provide a program that helps girls age 11 - 13 develop new interests and inner strength.
