At YWCA Greenwich, we have made it our goal to provide a safe and empowering environment for both children and families throughout the Greenwich, CT area. In addition to our fitness classes, preschool education courses, and domestic abuse services, we also provide after-school programs for elementary and middle-school aged children. These programs are designed to engage and educate children, providing them with a wide range of social, physical enrichment, and academically-focused programs.
Located in Greenwich, CT, our modern facility offers a variety of youth sport programs, lessons, and other activities that all strive to promote interpersonal skills and self-esteem within a supportive, fun atmosphere. Featuring an on-site water playground, and a six-lane warm water pool, we are proud to offer some of the leading aquatics programs in the area. Our facility also includes a gymnasium, a state-of-the-art fitness center, spin room, and tennis courts.
Our diverse student body includes girls and boys, kindergarten through eighth grade. Our counselors are expertly trained to provide an enriching experience in education, fitness, and other activities to promote physical and mental exercise. As part of our structured after-school programs, YWCA Greenwich also offers STEAM activities, Computer Coding, Zaniac, and arts programs. These courses allow our students to strengthen their math and science proficiency and increase their problem-solving capabilities, thus promoting future academic success.
At YWCA Greenwich, our after-school programs combine learning and play activities that keep children focused, busy and prepared for their next grade level.
