Become an educated voter

YWCA Greenwich.22.October.2018: Are you learning about the candidates running for the upcoming election by listening to ads on TV and radio? Are you overwhelmed with the negative rhetoric coming from candidates on both sides of the aisle?  It takes work to become a well-educated voter, but our democracy depends on citizens who make choices about elected officials based on an understanding of where candidates stand on the issues they care about.  That's why the League of Women Voters Greenwich has put together the 2018 Voter Registration Guide. The Guide provides a non-partisan view of where each candidate stands on important issues.  You can download the guide at: http://lwvg.org/files/votersguide2018_web_lr.pdf

If you're not registered to vote, there's still time to register but not a lot of it!  Go to https://www.greenwichct.gov/585/I-want-to-become-a-voter to find out more.  The deadline to register is October 30.
