Dr. Misra then completed her internal medicine residency at Brown University College of Medicine, followed by an Endocrinology fellowship at Columbia University Medical center, where her research focused on osteoporosis, a topic on which she published several papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as a chapter in a book about the condition.
