The new Women Who Inspire Awards acknowledges the changes in our society that have led to fluidity of work/life balance for women. A nominee will have a proven record of growth, success, and influence in her profession and/or community. The recipients of this award will demonstrate an unwavering passion and commitment for a cause or idea and is a role model who is making a difference in the lives of others. In addition to the women who will be recognized for the 2019 Women Who Inspire Awards, the nominees will include one corporate recipient and two Next Generation honorees.
Established in 2006, and a tremendous success since its inception, the Old Bags Luncheon features silent and live auctions of new handbags, designer bags and vintage bags, donated by designers, manufacturers, retailers, and individuals. Proceeds exclusively help fund YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services. YWCA Greenwich is the only state designated and accredited provider of domestic abuse services in Greenwich, with staff who are licensed to provide a variety of victim services. All services are free of charge to anyone who reaches out to YWCA Greenwich.
In honor of the individuals who have made YWCA Greenwich the community treasure it is today, we are planning a special celebration. This year's gala will take place at our home at 259 East Putnam Avenue where we will transform our property into a magnificent place for a party. We hope all of you who have made YWCA Greenwich such a special place will join us for this magnificent evening.
