Fairfield County Look 26.November.2018: It’s a momentous year at YWCA Greenwich. Celebrating 100 years of making a difference in the lives of women, children and families. Taking a lead in promoting social justice. Visibly advocating for the elimination of racism. Empowering women and turning the tide on domestic and sexual abuse—way before the #metoo movement. It’s a full plate that’s growing even larger. It’s no wonder that the YWCA is recognized as the soul of the community.
“The 100th anniversary is a time to reflect on all of the women and men who have contributed so much. They have helped women find their voice and resolve, educated the community, and supported those in need.” Karen Morstad, YWCA board chair.
