Stephanie Schnabel

Stephanie leads Corporate Development for KPMG LLP, where she is responsible for all of the firm’s acquisition and divesture activity. In this role, she develops growth strategies, and leads a team responsible for identifying, executing, and integrating transactions on behalf of KPMG. 

 
Before joining KPMG in December 2014, Stephanie was Managing Director at Accenture LLP. She joined Accenture LLP in 2001, and took on the role of Global Lead of Corporate Development in 2005.  During that time, Stephanie led M&A activity globally for the $30+ billion consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Prior to joining Accenture, Stephanie was with Catterton Partners in Greenwich as a Principal.  She also spent time in strategy consulting living in Europe and on the West Coast, and had been Interim CEO of Halston International in the late 1990’s.
 
Stephanie has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including being named one of Mergers & Acquisitions Magazine's Rising Stars (2010), "Power Player in Digital Media-2013", and featured in a December 2013 Women in M&A article on The Glass Hammer website.
 
Stephanie earned her AB in Economics from Princeton University and her MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from The Wharton School/University of Pennsylvania.  She is active in charitable activities, including serving on the Board of the Girl Scouts of New York, Princeton Women in Leadership Steering Committee, Princeton Annual Giving Class Agent and Alumni Schools Committee, Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich, Junior League of Greenwich, and other philanthropic endeavors.  She has been actively involved with the YWCA Greenwich since 2013, and served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors from 2015-2017.  Currently, she is a YWCA Greenwich Dolphin Mom and lives with her husband and 15 and 12-year-old daughters in town.
