YWCA Greenwich will celebrate its Centennial in 2019 -- 100 years of service to the Greenwich community.
YWCA Greenwich and the women who have led this great institution have always understood the need for a local voice for women and girls. From the beginning the organization has provided a safe haven for young, single women, as well as a club where women could learn new skills, become community activists, and build camaraderie among like-minded women of their time.
Today, YWCA Greenwich fulfills our mission to eliminate racism, empower women and girls and promote inclusion in our community through adult and children's programming, community partnerships, and through the vital work of YWCA Domestic Abuse Services.
In honor of the individuals who have made YWCA Greenwich the community treasure it is today, we are planning a special celebration. This year's gala will take place at our home at 259 East Putnam Avenue where we will transform our property into a maginificent place for a party.
We hope all of you who have made YWCA Greenwich such a special place will join us for this magnificent evening.
